Little man has had a VERY busy third birthday week! I'll share over a few posts. One of his highlights was a private tour of the City Center fire station set up by his uncle Boo. He was a little scared at first but once he realized how much fun a fire station could be he was all smiles! THANK YOU Uncle Boo for making his day!!!! xoxo

Ka-Chow!!!
And just like that, Lightning McQueen has taken over our house. He first started watching it at ah & pa's…then came books…cars…and obsession! For Halloween we wanted to do a family Toy Story theme. Chase had other ideas. We waited about two weeks before buying his costume hoping that he would change his mind but his mind was definitely made up, so Lighting McQueen race car driver it is! He makes a pretty cute one, if you ask me :).

| Since she doesn't get to be Little Bo Peep from Toy Story, she's stuck in pumpkin land :) |

| I don't think either of them was happy with sharing the spotlight :) |
This year is so much fun because he gets to dress up for lot's of events! Today he had his school party, so we topped his outfit off with some "road" marks on his face...
I also want to ask you to keep my good friend Stephine in your prayers. She had brain surgery yesterday to remove a tumor (related to Ovarian cancer) and she ROCKED the surgery! She wasn't supposed to go home until next week but she may go home tomorrow. She's the strongest person I know and is so incredibly inspirational. Keep her in your prayers for a solid recovery!

10 on 10 | October
For those of you who follow my blog, you know I am an avid fan of The Bloom Forum. It is a wonderful place where I can learn, grow and share. This month I bring you a new project and a new opportunity for me to document my family. Plain, uncensored, and real. It is not only a way for me to join a fabulous group of girls for some photo fun, it is a way for me to connect with my family and remember the little things about life that make it so sweet. This project is pretty simple: 10 photos in one day | taken roughly every hour for 10 hours | posted on the 10th of the month. I hope you join me on this new photo journey and then head on over to Bay Area Photographer Alison Crane, to see her images for the day. xoxo

7:30am | rolling around in my room, playing with her toes…my personal favorite activity to watch
8:45am | using my macro to a. PRACTICE and b. record the bougainvillea before it bids us farewell for the winter months
11:00am | visiting the co-op garden pumpkin patch. terrible lighting, but this project is teaching me to appreciate the sweet moments, even if they are photographically challenged!
1:30pm | a little playtime before naptime
2:00 pm | i heart the fall. BIG time. everything turns pumpkin, including these delicious cookies (practicing with the macro again)
3:00pm | a little storytime after his nap
4:00pm | he's participating in the Pumpkin Man tomorrow…and already sporting his number. I made fun of him all night :)
5:00pm | we had to drop his race shoes off tonight so he would have them at transition
7:00pm | nothing like a little family spin on the carousal
8:15pm | modern technology at its finest…a little Peter Pan before bed, iPad style :)

iPhone Pics!
I just downloaded all of the pics from the last few months on my phone and the first thing I notice is that I am terrible at taking iPhone pictures! I see other's and they seem to be so much better! Oh well, here are a few of the better ones…amazing how much A has changed since June when these first couple were taken...
| This was when she started smiling A LOT |
| Chase loved hanging by the pool this summer |
| Rainy day in Vegas…a large floppy hat was in order :) |
| Audrey LOVES being upright! |
My new running partner all geared up...
| Love it when she snuggles! |
| We are POTTY TRAINING! Chase is doing great with peepee but having a hard time with poo. Like, not doing it at all. He says its too hard. Hmmmmm…..I think cleaning your diaper is too hard! |
| They look so much alike here! |
| Rocking the cart while shopping with mama |
| This is from today at the park…Chase learned about the letter F in school this week so the froggy was perfect :) |
| Meanwhile, Audrey and I took pics of ourselves |
| And her still oh-so-long toes! |
