What Would You Do With 5 Minutes?

When Chase gets free in the backyard you won't see him in one spot for long. If you need to get a hold of him, you might find him reading a book, wrestling with Rigley, or playing in his sandbox. And if you need to get a hold of me, you can find me cleaning up his messes when he is done. And that is just a mere 5 minutes in our day.

Little Victories

Ryan and Steph have a theme for her fight...Little Victories. Yes, her cancer is a tough battle but by celebrating the small victories it makes the big picture so much more attainable, don't you think? This morning Ryan told me that her head oncologist wants to move her out of ICU. That is a huge little victory! Keep it up Steph!

Pullin' For The Pulliams!!!!

One of my best friends has just been diagnosed and gone through surgery for Ovarian Cancer. Please keep Stephine and her husband Ryan in your prayers and thoughts as they proceed to kick the S*&% out of this disease!!!

Race for the Cure

New Do'

It's official. Chase has crappy beach hair. Forget long waves, locks, or curls...it gets nappy and knotted in the back when long. So, off it went and what we are left with is a super sweet looking kid who won't have his mom following him around with a comb all day long. Oh, and it's good for summer too!

Oh...but looking back at these pics, the long hair is deceivingly cute. Is that a word?

Mike & Chase are thoroughly enjoying playing outside lately. And Chase is already throwing the ball further than Mike. Teeheehee :). Chase said "buah-bye" to his great grandma this week, who has moved to Memphis to be with my uncle. While we will miss her very, very much, we are happy to know that she is with Chase's little cousin Jimmy so she will continue to get lots of little kid love!

Random-ness.

Wow. Easter blew in and was gone as quickly as it came. We had two fun celebrations....one in the morning with the fam and a second in the afternoon with friends. Nic had planned an Easter egg hunt but we had ridiculous winds that kept us inside most of the day. I slacked on the pictures but I did get this cute one of Chase sharing his egg. He is always willing to share - unless it is one of his cleaning products (swifter, dust mop, vacuum, etc). What can I say, the kid loves to clean!

This is an old pic from grandpa's birthday that I forgot to share...I always think Chase looks just like Mike until I get these two together...resemblance?Chase hearts the park. And he really hearts this tunnel. Can't get him out of it!

Once again I am dumbfounded by how quickly time is flying by....each and every day Chase shows us more of his personality. Already we know he is going to have a great since of humor like his daddy and is going to be stubborn like his mommy!
