Pre-K!

Chase's first day of pre-k was pretty uneventful actually. I was really excited, and so was he, but ultimately it felt like just another day of school! He's at the same school as last year and I have known his assistant for a while now. Love her and his new teacher as well. He has a couple of friends from last year in the class and is having a great time so far. He does go 5 days a week this year which is new. He's tired but today he took a nice long nap, something that I think we will be doing more often :)

Mike had a trip to LA this week so we asked if we could hang out in his hotel room and tag along. His travel schedule is intense so it was great to be able to spend time with him that would otherwise be spent with him traveling alone. He was working a lot, but we had fun on our own and we were able to spend some time with him in the evenings! Of course the big highlight of our trip was getting to visit Shane in Santa Barbara. She's at a GORGEOUS barn there and Chase had a blast on his pony. Auds was into petting the horses but didn't care to get on one. She kept asking for a pink horse. Apparently the beautiful brown ones weren't good enough for Miss A :).
