And just like that, Lightning McQueen has taken over our house. He first started watching it at ah & pa's…then came books…cars…and obsession! For Halloween we wanted to do a family Toy Story theme. Chase had other ideas. We waited about two weeks before buying his costume hoping that he would change his mind but his mind was definitely made up, so Lighting McQueen race car driver it is! He makes a pretty cute one, if you ask me :).

This year is so much fun because he gets to dress up for lot's of events! Today he had his school party, so we topped his outfit off with some "road" marks on his face...
I also want to ask you to keep my good friend Stephine in your prayers. She had brain surgery yesterday to remove a tumor (related to Ovarian cancer) and she ROCKED the surgery! She wasn't supposed to go home until next week but she may go home tomorrow. She's the strongest person I know and is so incredibly inspirational. Keep her in your prayers for a solid recovery!

Oh I remember the car OBSESSION!! cars were the first thing that Kellen was obsessed with, I thought it would never end but now every year comes a new cool thing. Cars never seem to go out of style though.
