Audrey's Baby Shower!

Sunday my aunt and cousins threw me a beautiful baby shower with lots of pink! I really thought that if I ever had a girl I wouldn't be super "girlie" with what I liked. I don't consider myself to be a girlie girl so why would my daughter be? Well, apparently either I AM a girlie girl, or I am totally going against the grain because I am LOVING all things pink lately!

I was surrounded by so many of my good friends and family and cannot express enough how appreciative I am of all that you do for me. Little Audrey's a lucky little girl to have so much love surrounding her already.

Sally spent months planning the shower and did a great job with food, drinks, games and gifts. Lauren was awesome and let us use her house (until she was ready for the decorations to come down, that is....she was taking everything down before people even left :)) and while Shane has been traveling a ton lately, she was there to run the show. Thank you all for such a wonderful day!! xoxoxoxo

Here are the pics from the day....

Just Another Ride

Chase loves his BIG truck...well, he loves all trucks, but one of the perks of having a big truck that holds all your little Hot Wheels is that it doubles as a ride too!

Strike!

Last weekend we took Chase to the Rebels Baseball game. Erin & Dave invited us and brought Skylar and let me tell you, those two kids had a blast (and I am not talking about Dave & Mike :)). We couldn't stay super long but I cannot wait to take him back for more fun. Chase was really into it...shouting "MISS" at every play (I think even when they didn't miss!) and cheering both teams on.

And on the same day, I braved the camera and took a picture :). This is me at 32 weeks. I feel like I am ready to burst but I now still have 7 weeks to go. Its so strange, and maybe it is because my mind isn't being occupied with a full time job, but I am SO anxious to meet Audrey! Time is going by way too slow this pregnancy and I have NO PATIENCE!!!!

Catchup & Picture Overload!

So I have been sliding by with lots of pics of Chase for my Friday posts but I am super behind at catching up on what has actually been going on around here! This post is going to be lengthy (gotta have the memories in the blog book!) so beware ;).

Early in February we chopped off all of Chase's hair. It has been determined that he does not have beach worthy, long, curly locks, as of yet!

Mike & I found an awesome trail near our house. I cannot believe that we did not know about it! It's only about a mile of paved trail but over seven miles of awesome running trails after that. The view of the city is phenomenal, the iPhone just doesn't do it justice!

Maria & Kaya came to visit us!!!!! We had SUCH an amazing time with them both. Chase was a little bit jealous of Kaya whenever I held her, but if she was crying he was so worried He would rub her back and try to give her her "chewy giraffe." He is just so sweet. I am a little worried about jealous ywhen Audrey arrives, but I really do believe he will be an awesome big brother. In fact, he is already calling himself Big Brother! I'm so glad Maria chose to spend a week of her maternity leave with us. I miss her so much!!!!
I think Kaya looks like she is just loving it, don't you?!

We had a babysitter come for a night so we could all go out. We took Maria to Cosmopolitan so she could check out Vegas' latest and greatest. Actually it was the first time I have been there too. I feel so old! But we had a great night of cocktails (mocktails for me!) and a fabulous dinner.

The bump at 29/30 weeks!
A rare shot with mama!

After Maria left, Mike's uncle Barry came in from Chicago and we were able to have a couple of wonderful dinners with the family. It was so much fun for Chase to meet him for the first time...he brought Chase a big ole' dinosaur that Chase still calls "Uncle Barry's Haha" (Chase calls all dinosaurs hahas for some reason :)).

Pa & Chase on a random night visit before bed :)

Finally, we celebrated my dad's 60th Birthday!!!!!! We tried to surprise him, but I of course was late (hint to all, you should really start telling me to be places a good 15 minutes to a half hour before I need to be there) and I think Bruce and Sally beat him to the restaurant too. Chase enjoyed a nice Italian dinner and was probably the most well behaved person at the dinner table, until Uncle Boo started messing up all of my good parenting :). Love ya Uncle Boo!
So glad Uncle Bill got to join us too!
Goofball!
Soooo sleepy!
