Not sure how it happened but in the blink of an eye Chase turned five…he is at the age where I just wish time would stop.
He is still a total rule follower. Example, while doing his home work for the day I told him he could write each letter 5 times instead of 6 (the teachers have him do 6). I said since it's his birthday he could just do five because that's how old he is. He didn't like that at all saying the teachers tell him to do 6 and he would just stick with that. Don't break the rules mama!
He's also super into numbers. His brain thinks differently when it comes to numbers. Just the other day he asked why we have names for the days of the week. Why can't we just call the days by their numbers of the week/month. What's the point of the names? Strange way to think about it and I didn't really know how to answer!
Right now he is still into Star Wars but is super into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ironman as well.
He's still sweet as can be. Always good at sharing, taking care of his sister and playing so nicely with his friends. At big events I often find him hanging with his sister instead of his friends…. sharing special moments together that make me so proud of him.
I love you little man! Thanks for being you, the bestest little man in the world!
