25 Days of Christmas…A new tradition for the year because I'm obsessed with coming up with new traditions :). This was a fun one and although I had intentions of taking awesome pics of the kids doing each activity I generally ended up using my handy iPhone to catch the action. Chase was bummed on the 24th when he realized it was the last day but Christmas morning more than made up for it :). Will get those pics on the next post!
day 1 | walk to get hot chocolate
day 2 | write a letter to each family member telling them why we love them
day 3 | go to the library for Christmas stories (library was closed, Homegoods was open :)
day 4 | paint ornaments for daddy
day 5 | eat a holiday donut
day 6 | make welcome home brownies for daddy
day 7 | make snowflakes
day 8 | eat a holiday dinner out
day 9 | watch a holiday movie (The Grinch)
day 10 | look at Christmas lights
day 11 | stay up late for a warm drink
day 12 | make a holiday treat
day 13 | bring holiday treats to a friend
day 14 | sing holiday songs
day 15 | use new watercolors for christmas pics
day 16 | see Santa!
what would a 1 year old's visit to Santa be without tears?!
day 17 | call the grandparents and sing a holiday song
day 18 | take blankets & food to an animal shelter
this little man almost came home with us...
day 19 | bake cookies at Auntie Aye's house
day 20 | make gingerbread houses (done with friends, Audrey looks just a little competitive :))
day 21 | make snowmen (with chalk)…YAY for Charleigh & Skylar being in town!
day 22 | "make" marshmallows
day 23 | go to the Nutcracker…THANKS AH!!!!!!!
day 24 | make cookies for Santa
day 25 | SANTA COMES TO TOWN!
