OK, I'm catching up with a few images from the holidays. This year was really special because Chase had a total grasp on the idea of Christmas and Santa. We had so much fun attending various holiday events and doing things around the house to make it feel very festive around here. I'm excited for next year…and spending even more time coming up with traditions. Mike will be thrilled. Haha, he thinks I'm a little overboard with my ideas for traditions but then again, he's always happy we do them once he realizes how much Chase enjoys them!

This year the Elf on the Shelf made his appearance from the North Pole. He spent December 1st-Christmas Eve with us. We named him Pinnochio and he watched Chase and Audrey all month long. He reported back to Santa every night (well, almost every night, sometimes he got lazy and stayed with us without moving to a new spot). Chase had so much fun finding him in the mornings and checking out what naughty things the elf did. He really liked to get into trouble, that silly elf!
