A few weeks ago (maybe months?!) we headed out to
Gilcrease Ranch to do some veggie picking. Not only did I not know that such a cool place existed in Vegas (eggplant, zucchini, squash growing in Vegas? Who would have thought!) but I was SO excited to see that they also had fresh backed apple cider donuts. Let me tell you, these donuts are one of my favorite memories from living in Portland and something I always miss in the fall. But now instead of a 3 hour flight I just have a (slightly long) drive across town. I'm so glad I got to share them with Chase and A (well, A just looked at them but she seemed to think they smelled good!). Seriously if you have never tried these donuts you definitely should!
