And we both got through the day with no tears! I cannot believe how fast my little man is growing up. I remember thinking about preschool shortly after he was born. I am not sure why it was on my mind but at the time preschool seemed like forever from now. Well, forever from now was today and I was so proud of him as he made his grand entrance into the unknown and mastered the day. He's in a three year old class even though he won't turn three until October. It didn't phase him at all that he was younger than the rest of the kids. He marched right in, found his spot at the play doh center and enjoyed free time while I put his things away. The hardest part was leaving before class started. I'm a little controlling (duh!) and it was so hard to walk away and have no idea what he did for the next three hours. The teacher said he was great and Chase said he had a fun time and will definitely go back for more. Still, I wish he would have told me a little more about what he did at school but all I really got out of him was that he went on a bridge (recess I'm assuming), had his snack (carrots and string cheese), and played. Not really the detailed description I was hoping for, kid ;).
