Thank you to Mr. Pulliam for reminding me that it has been over my normal week since I have last posted. Unfortunately, I have no excuses, just apologies, and a promise to try to be on top of my game next time. To that effect, please enjoy the photos below of our happenings, and Chase's very first Easter!
After a couple of weeks of rest from cereal, we decided to give it another go around...this time, utilizing his big boy high chair. As you can tell from this picture, and the video below, he has taken to eating "solids" - unfortunately, he hasn't yet distinguished between cereal and plastic!
Such a proud king in his throne...

Speaking of sitting up, he is doing really well at sitting up on his own. He's not quite ready to sit without his mommy support so the pics are a little awkward and don't really show how well he is doing....

...but he really is getting it :)

Chase had his first Easter experience. Now that I have seen some pics from my other mommy's, I feel like the loser mom who didn't dress her kid up. Maybe he will appreciate me someday for not making him wear goofy rabbit ears, but I kind of wish I had! There is always next year!

He seemed pretty stoked to be in his plaid overalls!

Another thing I failed to do was ask the Easter Bunny to deliver Chase an Easter Basket. Thank goodness for Easter Bunny Grandma - she is always prepared and had some new summer outfits for us all! She also made a great meal and we followed it up with my horrible, and I do mean
horrible Red Velvet Cupcakes. It is my new goal to make the perfect cupcake and at this rate, I will be 65 before that happens. Thank you to my family for eating at least 1 before the rest went in the trash. I wish I would have taken a picture of them.

Not sure when this was, but it is a cute pic of Chase and Aunt Lauren!

And last, but not least, I am going to share my photos of Erin Merrill's new baby room. I feel kind of silly posting them on my blog since you can read all about the room
HERE but thought I would share them anyway. Stephine, myself and Erin (when we were painting something not so
fumey) all had a blast last Saturday creating the beautiful room below for Baby Girl Merrill. The boys were there too, and after Mike realized I had bamboozled him into watching Chase all day, they had a fun time watching the Master's (at least I think that was what they were watching) and playing with Chase. Ryan
Pulliam even got some baby Chase time in, stinky diapers and all!
