Daddy Daughter Dance

Daddy daughter dance part 2 went down this weekend for Mike and Audrey. Since stretch limos fit three couples, Auds triple dated with her friends Karson and Penelope and their handsome Dads Brett and Ryan. The DJ spun all the hits from Bieber/Swift and Flo-rida and Audrey danced the night away with some pasta and photo booth action in between. Audrey was able to recycle her dress from Auntie Lo's wedding and she was the most beautiful and well behaved 4.8 year old at the dance! - written by daddy :)

2015-2016 Basketball

Basketball season came and went too quick! This was Chase's second year playing bball and his team worked together and improved every week. Basketball is currently Chase's favorite sport and by far our favorite sport to watch. Chase's stats in his 6 games as a Blue River Gorilla (per official statistician, Dad)

Points per game - 5 (team high!)

January started off with Auds & Chase having their tonsils removed. They both were on the large side and with Audrey getting sick a lot and Chase not sleeping well we thought it would be best to go ahead and remove them. We didn't expect the recovery to last as long as it did - ten days, a load of tears and way more ice cream than I would have expected! They are now fully recovered and it is as if it never happened! 

While they were recovering Baby Caya, Julie and James came for a visit! I felt so bad because we didn't do anything super fun, we were stuck at home a lot with Chase and Auds recovering. But Caya was a blast - the sweetest easiest baby around! Loved having them here with us!

 After they recovered we took them up to Snow Creek for some ski action. I most definitely fell more than they did but we all had a BLAST!

Caya's First Birthday!

Baby Caya came to celebrate her 1st birthday with us and we LOVED having her! Her birthday was actually the day after she left but we had fun with cake and pizza! She is seriously the happiest baby I've ever known :). Chase and Auds both had just had their tonsils out and unfortunately weren't feeling as well as I had planned them to be but we enjoyed lots of time at home. It was freezing out anyways!
