Cookies!

With summer coming to an end, the kids have been restless. Ready to take on new schools, new friends and new adventures. Keeping them busy at home has been a challenge but one thing they love to do is cook. Hopefully they will continue this love of cooking for many years to come. For now, they make excellent helpers...Auds is more into the specifics (measuring, dumping, etc) while Chase likes to watch things mix and, in this case, help to scoop the cookies onto the baking sheet!

To The Moon & Back Week 31

OMG we had rain! And thunderstorms! People here say it was nothing and that we need to be prepared for the "real rain" but it was such a fun day for us. We played in the street in jackets that were way too warm for the still 80 degree day but it really was so cool to experience our first rain in Kansas City. I'm sure we will be sick of it by January but right now we can't wait for the next storm to come our way!

Ah and Pa visit!

We had such a nice time with Pa and Ah, lots of BBQ, thanks to Mike making us go multiple times :). Chase went to see Transformers with Ah and we also went to the museum at Prairie Fire and drove around a lot checking things out :). One more month and we get to see them again!
