Deanna Rose Farmstead

We are having such a fun time exploring all of the fun kid activities here in Kansas. I'm overwhelmed with all that there is to do with them here! This is the Deanna Rose Farmstead, where they have recreated what a farm would have looked like around the turn of the century. There's cows, goats, a fishing pond, even a little school house that you can take "lessons" at. We have gone a couple of times so far and the kids can't decide if feeding the goats or getting ice cream is their favorite - my vote is for the ice cream :).

Frozen!

This year is the year of Frozen. Every kid (myself included ;)) LOVES this movie and the dance studios all had great Frozen themed camps. Audrey did a couple when we moved but her favorite was at Denise's Dance Company, where she will be taking her regular dance lessons!

Backyard

Kids are loving our new yard...and the "play structure." Don't call it anything else, or you will be corrected!

We're Home

After a long time of traveling and living out of suit cases we finally made it to our new house in Overland Park! Not having seen it prior to the move, I was a little freaked out that I wouldn't like it. But it lived up to everything I had hoped for and we were so excited to get the keys and call it home!
