First Dance Class...

I had huge hopes for Audrey's first dance class. Too high, perhaps, but she loves to dress up in her tutus, her tap shoes, even her tights. I really thought her first dance class would be amazing but alas, she was not into it….at all ;). She cried a lot and did not want me to leave the room. No biggie, except I was the only mom in the room for most of the class! We are going to keep trying, practicing at home, and talking about how much fun class can be. She's already gone from saying she didn't want to go back to saying yes when I ask her about it. I know we will get there, she just has to do it on HER terms ;)

Necklace Making

Auds spent an entire afternoon recently making "jewelry" for her wrists, her neck, even her toes! Chase was there too but insisted on no paparazzi ;)

Summer school

Today as Chase was drawing a picture of his family he told me daddy would have to have little legs because he's very fat. Hmmmmm I'm thinking chase doesn't really know what fat is! That may be the next lesson! His good friend Logan also made it into the family pic :).

Last T-Ball Game

It's bittersweet but Chase's last t-ball game was this past Saturday. We love practicing and having games but it's really getting too hot for him to enjoy it now so I'm glad we are done for the summer and look forward to next year! Manhattan Beach!

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Manhattan Beach with the Garcias…Colleen found us a sweet little beach house and we spent our days playing in the sand. And eating a ton! It was a wonderful weekend and I can't wait to do it again :).
