Pillow Fight

Chase loves to fight with his daddy…he's obsessed with Lion King and he is the Simba to Mike's Scar. Luckily, Scar never falls too far off the cliff in their version :).

Taking A Break

Chase has always been such a good sleeper. Naps, bedtime, in the car, you name it, he's game to go to bed. But lately he has been resisting naps and when he does nap he resists bedtime. So we are taking a different approach and taking "rests." If he falls asleep, great, but if not, that's ok too. As long as he's rested, we are happy campers :)

10 on 10 | June

Looking back over my blog posts I realize 10 on 10 posts make me smile…and realizing that I often skip a month or two makes me sad. When I go to print out pictures of my family I truly love looking back at my normal "days" and know that this is a project that I need to continue. So I'm back with it and chose Chase's first day of no school. It's not that he was in school every day but having just the two days to break up his week was fun for him. Unfortunately for him, he's stuck with us for the summer :)

Will Walk For Shoes

Audrey, like her big brother (who walked at 15 months to the day), is taking her sweet time walking. She did, however, decide that walking for shoes would be a'ok. At Nordstroms last weekend she took FIVE whole steps all by herself! She then spent last week taking 2-3 steps at a time and just today took another 5/6 steps. While she may not be setting records for walking, she is definitely intent on beating big brother!

 Still thinks standing is hilarious…and still hates the grass on her toes :)
