Fall is in the air :)

Catching Up….

I'm so behind on sharing photos from what we have been doing! Let me do a little catch-up :)

Chase sure does enjoy his books, so we had a little fun with them for my photo blog...

Earlier this month Mike participated in his very first triathlon in St. George. We went down with the Merrill's and rented a house that was perfect for the kids…built in trampoline, pool and toys. The kids were in heaven!

Mike, post race. Congrats Mike & Dave for a race well done!!! Next time Mike, try not to let strangers put your clothes on for you :).

Dinner date for Connor & Audrey last weekend :).

Audrey is so interested in her big brother. She loves to watch him play and he is so good to share his toys with her!

See the little train she has between her arms? Chase gave that to her to play with!

Last weekend we also walked the Owareness Cancer Walk at UNLV. A great event and opportunity to support the cause and our friend Stephine...

Whoa….FIVE MONTHS!

This is her "SCARY" halloween pose!!!

Can you believe FIVE MONTHS have passed?!?!?! Wow, where does time go with this little one?

This month little Miss A is:

-rolling front to back and back to front
-cooing, laughing and blowing bubbles ALL THE TIME. She's much more talkative than Chase was at this age
-can hold herself standing up for a second or two while hanging onto the couch. She's got the strongest little legs ever
-LOVE's being in her walker, excersaucer, or generally anything that keeps her upright
-can sit for a few seconds in "tripod"
-she's still waking up once/night to eat…needs to get in all the calories she can :)
-to help her gain a little bit the doctor had me start solids with her. She loves rice cereal plain or with avocados. We have also tried sweet potatoes (not her favorite) and bananas (yum!). We won't try much else this month. I'll get more creative with making her food once she hits the six month mark!

10 on 10 | September

For those of you who follow my blog, you know I am an avid fan of The Bloom Forum. It is a wonderful place where I can learn, grow and share. This month I bring you a new project and a new opportunity for me to document my family. Plain, uncensored, and real. It is not only a way for me to join a fabulous group of girls for some photo fun, it is a way for me to connect with my family and remember the little things about life that make it so sweet. This project is pretty simple: 10 photos in one day | taken roughly every hour for 10 hours | posted on the 10th of the month. 9:15am  |  his crooked smile makes an appearance at breakfast

11:00am  |  rice cereal is always better when eaten with your hands!

1:10pm  |  imitating mommy and working his camera

2:00pm  |  a quick snack shared with a friend before naptime

4:30pm  |  enjoying a late afternoon run through the sprinklers

4:50pm  |  his favorite pastime...a boy can never have too many cars

5:45pm  |  all smiles while experiencing the "exersaucer"

8:15pm  |  a late night game of match on the iPhone
