One Month!

  

And just like that, Audrey is one month.

A few things about her:

She can lift her head up and move it from side to side when on her belly.

Speaking of her belly, she prefers it to her back.

Must have something to do with the reflux...yup, its worse than Chase's was!

She actually likes sleeping in the "baby hammock" that Chase hated.

After a sleepy first 3 weeks she's really been awake a whole lot more this week.

She's very alert and follows my eyes really well.

She likes to wake up at 4am every morning, but hates to go back to bed (yikes!).

She's putting on about an ounce a day. Weighing in at 7lbs, 6 ounces on Monday.

She is wanting to smile...kind of. I do know its more than just gas :). 

We all love her more and more every.single.day.

Different.

Just thought I would share this picture that I took for my photography blog circle....she just looks SO VERY DIFFERENT each and every time I photograph her....

21 Days

Scary how time is flying by :(. Audrey is having a tough time at night, making for a tough time for mommy and Chase the next day. She has a bad case of reflux. Apparently something that is more common with breech babies and babies with cords wrapped around the neck - whoohoo, we had both! Chase is so understanding of how tired I am though, I am just so happy he is so very mellow. And it doesn't hurt that he has a lot of other family members to keep him occupied :). xoxo

First Bath

Hard to believe that this is actually outdated, she is only five days old here. Time really does fly with newborns. Audrey was not nearly as fussy with her first bath, nor did she peepee all over daddy like Chase did :). She wasn't thrilled but settled down quickly after!

 Chase may have hated baths as a newborn, but its one of his favorite pastimes now :)

Audrey Day 12...And Little Man Too!

 Chase rarely looks at the camera. When he does, I am rarely ready for him. Lighting is a bit off in this pic but at least we both had our "eyes" ready!
