1st Haircut!

Today Chase experienced his very first haircut with Aunt Lauren. Dad, Grandpa and Grandma were also there to cheer him on. I was worried that the buzzers would scare him or that he would be distracted by all the people in the salon (especially his grandpa, who he has a slight obsession with :)) but Chase was great, as usual! He is getting to be such a big boy...I thought that I would be really sad to see the last of his "baby" hair go, but I stayed strong and was thrilled to see the end result. He looks like such a little man...1st Birthday Here We Come!
Look at those long blond locks...
Aunt Lauren getting ready to buzz! Going in for the kill... Buh-Bye Mohawk! All cleaned up...
Just a few touchups... What a Stud!So proud of himself!

Fall Fun

Last weekend, Mike ran the Las Vegas Ragnar Relay Race...a 180 mile race relayed by 12 guys who dedicate themselves to run for 24+ hours. They do this while driving in 2 vans full of stinky, smelly runners. Strange way to spend the weekend but I am so proud of him and he had a blast!
Meanwhile, Chase helped me out with our Fall planting by pointing to his favorite colors...

Monkey Who?

Most everyone knows that I have dubbed Chase my monkey and am obsessed with all things Monkey for his first year. Today Monica had the great idea to take the kids to the park for photos in their halloween costumes. Meet Mr. Monkey and Ms. Ladybug below. Unfortuneately, you will not see any pictures of them together as Ms. Ladybug was rather frightened by Mr. Monkey. We simply could not convince Sofia that it was only & really Chase in the Monkey costume!

Catchup!

Well, once again I am behind on blogging...and the worst part is that I have very few pictures to update with! We have been super busy getting ready for Chase's 1st Bday party and have had so much fun with my great friends Angie (from Oregon) and Amber (from Ohio) in town that I have slacked on my photo duties. Below are the pics that I do have and I am hoping Amber sends me more from her camera soon so I can post them (hint, hint)!
Dirty Thirty! We celebrated Sam's 30th @ Rock'n'Roll Wine at the Mandalay Bay. It was a great night filled with wine, friends & music. Lifehouse played, but my favorites were the local bands playing throughout the event. So surreal to have Angie at the house - I miss her so much! Just wish her little boy Kellen could have joined her...but that wouldn't make for a very good "girls" weekend! xoxo Please, ma, no more paparazzi! Hanging out in Amber's hotel room the night before she left. The week flew by tooooooo quickly!
Just another day in the life...lunch and shopping with Aunt Sal!
Cruisin...but still not walkin!
Whoa...my tongue is lonnnnggggg!
