This season Chase wanted to play soccer instead of T-Ball. I was totally happy about this because it's a little more entertaining to watch :). He hasn't played for a couple of years and boy has he changed. So much more alert and aware of his surroundings (all the kids are, for that matter). They actually play real games! And go to the right goal! And look less like a herd of lost cats and more like a team! Chase made a goal his first game which was totally good for his enthusiasm for the game. It's going to be a fun season :)

1st Day of Hip Hop!
Chase's friend Logan wanted to take hip hop so of course, Chase did too! They started at the rec center yesterday. It was SO funny to watch them take their lesson! Logan is a year older than Chase and you can tell that his focus is a bit better but Chase had a great time none the less. I fear he may have the coordination of his mama (uh oh) but we will see. I really want him to try everything he wants so that he can find an activity that he truly enjoys & is passionate about. He could be the next JT in the making :)
Logan, Chase & Owen learning their moves...
Of course Auds had to get in on the posing after :)
Afterwards I ran the kids over to a new photo spot to check it out. It was getting dark so we only had a few minutes but they both gave me their best/quickest go to poses :)
Auds thinks Mike lives on a plane…here she saw a plane and was screaming Daddy! Plane!

Audrey's 1st "Preschool" Class
Audrey is taking a preschool class at the rec center. I thought it was mommy and me but nope, she's inside doing the class on her own! After a couple quick tears when she realized I wasn't going with her she marched in and is having a blast! The teacher is so good with them and they have a very organized classroom format. They read, sing, do art and are playing with clay now. I'm standing outside taking as many blurry pics as I can :)

Foothills
Mike & the kids hike the foothills behind our house often and I need to join them more often. Here's a quick pic from a recent outing….gotta love the auto timer, we all look a little "off"!
