Once the start of summer hits Vegas, Mike and I spend much our time trying to figure out how we can escape it, if even for the weekend. This weekend we crashed Pete & Katy's house and we had a blast celebrating Pete's birthday a tad early. Chase was awesome in the car and I think even he put on a few lb's after the insane amount of eating we did. Good thing we hit the beach day 1!

Angel Face

Chase has the sweetest angel face - and in the right light, his skin that resembles neither his mother nor his father simply glows. I love the mornings when he is so happy to see me after a long night's sleep. I may not like the 6:30 call time, but this face more than makes up for it!

Pullin For Pulliam Part Dos!

Race for the Cure was so much fun today! Love for Stephine was definitely in the air throughout the morning. The race started at 8:15 with the 5k run and was followed by the 1k walk. Our team was split between the two but we all had a blast as we ran or walked in Steph's honor. Thank you to everyone who donated. Because of your support, we were in 5th out of 593 teams in donations earned. And we did that in just one week!

Check out my race partner! Chase was with grandma & grandpa this morning so I pushed Skylar instead! She ate her toes and cheered me on the whole time!

What Would You Do With 5 Minutes?

When Chase gets free in the backyard you won't see him in one spot for long. If you need to get a hold of him, you might find him reading a book, wrestling with Rigley, or playing in his sandbox. And if you need to get a hold of me, you can find me cleaning up his messes when he is done. And that is just a mere 5 minutes in our day.
