Catchup!

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at Dad and Elizabeth's. Once again, Elizabeth outdid herself with a wonderful Turkey spread. Although it was Chase's 2nd Thanksgiving, it was his first time enjoying the freshly cooked bird. He had fun playing with the fam and eating (sweet potatoes especially)!Lady and the ????
We went to breakfast with Great Grandma Ann - I think we know where the blond may be coming from!
Rigley has finally found a way to bond with Chase. She has taught him how to play fetch!
Straws are a man's best friend.
Night out with friends to celebrate Nic's new Director of Marketing job at Tao - congrats Nic!
Look ma, I got milk!

Chase's Semi Happy Pictures...

Well, our Christmas pictures have arrived. I'm telling you that for such a happy little kid, he sure was not in the mood to crack even the slightest smile. I'm thinking that for future reference, re-scheduling is the way to go. Poor guy just wasn't feeling it. And to think, I was worried about Mike being the non-smiling, foul-mood one as I had taken him away from his beloved Sunday Football. I'm going to have to have a little talk with Chase about being on his game, football or no football!

The blogging blahs...

OK, I am behind...really behind...on posting. So unlike me! But to be honest, I haven't taken many pictures and have been so busy enjoying the weather that Las Vegas calls "fall" that I have just simply slacked. I did get a chance to take some fun fall pictures of the Pulliams. They are so photogenic and we had a fun time! I'll get to regular blogging soon...I promise!

Pictures of Pictures?

Today we had a photo session with Hilary Helton, a photographer whom I think does amazing work. She shoots in all film so I won't have previews until we see the final product but you can see her work here. Chase has been teething SO hard this week so my fingers are crossed that Hilary was able to capture bits and pieces of his normally very happy little self. In the meantime, I took a few of my own pictures while we were waiting....
We shot at Anthem CC - thanks Aunt Sal & Uncle Bruce for providing the killer background! My two boys...
As if one itsy bitsy smile would have killed him!

Checking out the ducks was definitely the highlight of Chase's day...

Happy Halloween!

Chase's first Halloween was marked by a very warm day in Las Vegas...too warm for a fuzzy monkey! We first went to Aunt Julie's house to celebrate her birthday. Chase had a great time at her park, and from the looks of it, Mike & Julie got in on the monkey action too!
Next up we went to Aunt Sal & Uncle Bruce's house....I think that Chase thought Uncle Bruce's mask was a little more silly and a little less scary!
We ended the night at Grandpa & Grandma's where Chase received his very own special box of Pop Tarts!
