Chase Stands!

Chase has been trying to stand on his own, and has actually made it up a couple of times over the past couple of weeks but today he has officially "gotten" it. As he is now standing, I figured he could start helping me out around the house. Here, you will see, I am teaching him how to sort and fold laundry...
Chase, make sure your sorting by style and color!

We Have A Tooth!

This morning, after TWO months of teething (some days admittedly better than others) we have finally cut a tooth! It is hard to see, but just rub your finger over that once super soft gum and you will all but cut yourself on that little nugget. Chase has had a fever the past couple days and at 103.5 it is higher than what one would expect from a teething fever, but I am inclined to think that his harder than normal struggle with teething has culminated in a higher than normal fever. OK, that may be another of my odd explanations that is far from truth, but I am happy to report that the fever is down and the tooth is in!
This picture was taken the morning that his tooth arrived...

Big Ballin!

Chase was quite the rock star this weekend.....Dinner with the grandparents last night (Mike played poker and I went to happy hour with the girls but forgot the camera), breakfast this morning at the Ritz at Lake Las Vegas, followed by a little pool action at Red Rock. His fake ID didn't work for Cherry but he had fun playing in the kiddy pool none the less. He's taking a little snooze right now to make sure he has energy to watch his boys on Entourage...what a life!
I look like mama bear ready to pounce if Chase fell in!
Auntie Sam
How soon can he learn to swim? HAHAHAHAHA!

Mr. Mischievious

This morning Chase looked a little suspicious....
I think he was already planning his move to sneak under the table!

Futbol?

Chase spends a significant amount of time "kicking" his ball around the house. He gets really frustrated when it goes into a corner and he can't get it out - however - he is getting better at bopping it so that it goes into the air and knocks free. He gets a huge grin on his face and is so proud of himself when he gets it moving again!
Spotting his prey...

Makin' the move...

Stuck again! Knockin' it free On the move again!
